No. The parent-taught course uses an approved parent or guardian for the in-car instruction. The Drivers Ed Online Course requires the student to arrange in-car instruction separately through a licensed driving school.

No. The TDLR Parent Taught Driver Education Program Guide is required only for the parent-taught option.
